Job description

We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Advisers to join our team. You will be working for a charity committed to making sure that advice services are accessible and available across Northern Ireland.

About the role:

As an Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking help, advice or information. In addition to two years advice skills we want someone with exemplary customer care skills. Quality of advice and giving a great client experience are essential in running our business. You are expected to provide a multi-channel service and be agile in doing so. Teamwork and good communication are both essential.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:

· Provision of advice

· Supporting volunteers

· Maintain good relationships with partners


About you:

To be successful in the role of Adviser you will have an advice background with a qualification in Advice. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:


· Empathy– understanding and responding to clients’ distress appropriately

· Convey complex information in a way that is appropriate to the situation

· Good understanding of what makes a good quality advice service

· Ability to create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well

· managed

· Good interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written

· Proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels

· Proven ability to prioritise effectively, to multi-task and to cope well under pressure
