Job description
We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Advisers to join our team. You will be working for a charity committed to making sure that advice services are accessible and available across Northern Ireland.
Location: Office based, Belfast
About the role:
As an Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking help, advice or information. Quality of advice and giving a great client experience are essential in running our business. You are expected to provide a multi-channel service and be agile in doing so. Teamwork and good communication are both essential.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
· Provision of advice
· Supporting volunteers
· Maintain good relationships with partners
About you:
To be successful in the role of Adviser you will have an advice background with a qualification in Advice provided by Advice NI or Law Centre NI. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:
· Empathy– understanding and responding to clients’ distress appropriately.
· Good knowledge of GDPR and client confidentiality.
· Ability to convey complex information in a way that is appropriate to the situation.
· Good understanding of what makes a good quality advice service.
· Ability to create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well
· Managed.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
· Proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels.
· Proven ability to prioritise effectively, to multi-task and to cope well under pressure.
